According to a report by Expedia Group, the average traveler views 141 pages of travel content in 45 days before booking a trip. The most popular site visited is an online travel agency (OTA), with 80% of travelers visiting one. RatePunk, a travel company, found that globally, Agoda had the best hotel rates 34% of the time, followed by Priceline (23%) and Booking.com's mobile site (16%). Agoda had the cheapest rates in Asia and the Middle East. Booking.com had lower rates slightly more than 40% of the time in Europe. Booking.com's mobile site had better prices than its desktop version. Priceline had the cheapest rates in nearly half of the analyzed searches for travelers heading to the United States.
